JoLyn graduated in 1994 from Cal State Hayward with a bachelors in nursing. She worked as an open heart recovery nurse until 2000. She relocated to southern California and worked as a skin care specialist for 3M Medical. Working closely with top dermatologists and plastic surgeons JoLyn discovered her passion for the aesthetic field in skin care and wrinkle reduction. JoLyn is certified as an injection specialist and a laser trainer. She has traveled the US teaching doctors and nurses. At Medi-Rejuvenation, JoLyn works closely with Dr. Rubaum creating a safe advanced skin care practice.

JoLyn's advancements in the injection arena have been recognized with the highest prestige. This July she became an invited guest to Allergen's corporate headquarters in Irvine California. The Aesthetic Leadership Forum is an exclusive opportunity requiring a special invitation by the corporate offices. Only approximately seventy-five specialty aesthetic nurses from across the country have ever been invited. JoLyn was honored to be an active participant for the past three years.
